​Maggie Duggan​ grew up in a small town where everyone was your neighbor. Her town was close-knit, and the citizens looked after each other. This instilled in her the need to treat her patients like her family and friends. She sought a career where she could make a difference in people's lives.

   She specializes in acute or chronic pain sufferers who have consistent pain with movement who would like to be able to move pain free without expensive imaging, pain medications, injections, or surgery. Her outpatient focus is on manual and movement retraining, but she has experience in vestibular, stroke, TBI, and women's health. She has received certifications in manual-based treatments to provide you with accelerated results.

She graduated high school Valedictorian and went on to the University of Georgia to receive her Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Then, she moved to Savannah, Georgia and obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia Southern, formerly Armstrong Atlantic State University, due to its reputation for strong hands-on training. She has been practicing in outpatient since she began her career but has also worked in skilled nursing, home health, and acute care on nights and weekends. She was the Director of Clinical Operations and physical therapist at her last full-time position in Dothan, AL before moving to Huntsville, AL. She recently received her Master's of Business Administration from Troy University in May 2019.

​   Maggie enjoys a mix of athletic activities including Crossfit, hiking, Strongman lifting, indoor rock climbing, running, Ironman and adventure races, and traditional weightlifting. She also has a more delicate side that enjoys crafts such as painting, making wreaths, and making Swarovski jewelry. She and her husband, Matthew, enjoy traveling and taking on new adventures together. They have twin girls and a baby boy on the way.

Whitney has had experience in outpatient sports performance, orthopedics, and pediatrics for the past six years.  She has strong experience with athletic injuries, post surgical orthopedic rehab, non-surgical orthopedic injuries, pediatric orthopedics, post concussion rehab, and overall health and wellness.  She had worked with athletes at the professional level including the NFL, NBA, PRCA, MiLB, MLB, PGA; college and high school level including basketball, football, baseball, softball, tennis,

golf, bowling, soccer, rodeo, swimming, wrestling, gymnastics, cheer, cross country, and track & field; as well as the weekend warriors, marathon runners, tri-athletes, and Ironman competitors. 

   She is a native to the Tennessee Valley area.  She was born and raised in Elkton, TN.  She attended the University of Tennessee at Martin where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Athletic Training in 2010.  She went on to pursue her post graduate studies at Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN where she obtained a degree in Doctorate of Physical therapy in 2014. She is very passionate about achieving the overall health and fitness of the individual with a total body approach to rehab.  She is skilled in dry needling and other manual therapy techniques.  
 
   After living in Nashville for six years and traveling as a physical therapist for two years in East TN and South Carolina, Whitney returned home to Elkton, TN in 2018.  In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with her family and friends, attending church, traveling, mission trips, volunteer work, and learning new things.  You can find her in our Huntsville and Athens locations. ​

Debra Baty, MSPT, CLT

     For almost three decades, Debra Baty has been helping people to recover from injuries and illness in a wide variety of health care settings. She specializes in working with multi-sport adventure and endurance athletes.  Debra has a passion for helping athletes turn injuries into opportunities to work on areas needing improvement as they

heal. She aims to help athletes return to the sport they enjoy in better overall form. Post graduation from Thomas Jefferson University (now Jefferson), she started her career in Rome, GA. In 2008, she opened Archer Physical Therapy and provided medical coverage for the Wild Trails / Rock/Creek trail race series for four years. She also covered numerous other cycling, climbing, and adventure race events in the greater Chattanooga area. (Logging over 200 volunteer hours a year for multiple years.) Debra also has experience with non-traditional athletes. She has worked with concert musicians and professional dancers returning them to rigorous work demands. She closed Archer PT when she married her husband and moved to Huntsville in 2012.

     No matter where a person is starting, she enjoys helping folks find their “inner athlete” in working together to meet their goals. She also believes in educating individuals about how their bodies work to help prevent further injury and promote life-long health. Debra has taught as an Adjunct Professor at Calhoun College in GA and Oakwood University here in Huntsville. 

     Debra enjoys gardening, backpacking, cycling, kayaking, pickleball, traveling, volunteering, and photography, along with spending time with her friends and family.

Hanna Netherton

    ​Hanna is a former college cheerleader for Mississippi State University. From being on the sidelines to being at practices and morning workouts, she developed a passion for not just fitness but also wellness. Her college trainers introduced her to the PTA profession, and she knew that was the right path for her. Hanna went to Mississippi State University and studied Kinesiology. She went on to complete the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Wallace State. 
     Since being in the field, Hanna has worked providing outpatient care in Decatur since graduating in 2019. She has experience in a wide range of orthopedic conditions for individuals of all levels including: ACL repairs on a high school students, seniors with hip replacements, individuals suffering from chronic low back pain, and much more. Hanna is also a certified massage therapist and has certifications in manual therapies, blood flow restriction training (BFR), and fire cupping. She received her CrossFit Level 1 Training Certification in November of 2021 which only increased her clinical skills. 
     Hanna and her husband enjoy living an active lifestyle and doing CrossFit. If she’s not in the clinic, you can find her in the gym working out or coaching athletes to their full potential.  ​
